Only one thing to remember Jad, as you start the forward cast you need to shout "AVE IT" as loud as you can. ;D

'Jad' you need to make your pics smaller, give me a call I'll talk you through it.....stance is not good and you are facing the wrong way .....take no notice of the 'AVE IT' remark the barstweards were winding me with it all week in Ireland, the more I told them to take their time in the cast the more they shouted 'AVE IT' or it could have been the effects of the copious amounts of 'Guiness'. Spy1, it would appear my casting was so bad .... you can still remember it! I know if I relax and slow things down, and don't push the cast / rod, it allows the rod to work properly, it's just pour technique and lack of control As soon as I have some spare cash I'll have to take time out with you for some proper lessons! If you can stand the embarrassment JAD - the salmon will be running through your legs they way you're standing, unless you put a net between them ;D

I know if I relax and slow things down, and don't push the cast / rod, it allows the rod to work properly It's hard to slow down when the little fella in your head is shouting "AVE IT" JAD, looks like you have filled your waders there old chap. Reminded me of Billy Conolly's 'incontinece pants' sketch, couldn't help but laugh........ sorry.

Salmon seen on the Junction of the Alwen yesterday afternoon going through, very bright, the trout proved difficult yesterday, they were keyed in to 'aphids' about size 20 apple green colour, so if you are intending to fish in the next couple of days, make sure you have them.

Well tomorrow's the day then.................when the first Salmon gets caught in the Corwen area.
If not, then it'll be this weekend.............watch this space. Won't be me btw, as I don't fish for them until the restriction is lifted in June.
Anyone playing on Sunday?

Well done JAD your in safe hands dunno about sane hands though. Lets hope she gives up her 1st salmon this weekend , this year I have been a little reluctant to put as much time in , proberbly due to the fact of landing a tagged springer on the 15th June last year. Enjoy the Usk Spy1 MADCASTER
