Evening me luvers Have you missed me?...............been to Grafham for a few days...........feckin' place. Should be filled with concrete and renamed the Cambridge Park and Ride Not a lot happening I see. OK, can we all do a simultaneous rain dance at 9pm tomorrow night. Go out to your gardens (fields in your case Grayling) and do the following: - Yes, the neighbours may think that you're lunatics, but it's for a greater cause. Great to be back Bugsy

No sooner had I uttered the words "not a lot happening I see", I am contacted by Spy 1 who tells me that 2 extremely fresh fish (4 and 7lb) were caught in Corwen today.
BUT, DON'T FORGET ............9PM TOMORROW

;)How do I do a Rain Dance?
Easy. Well, probably. To be honest, I don't know how to do a Rain Dance either, it's not something I tend to have to do regularly.
The recommended dance is to march in an oval pattern, making as much noise as you and your mates can muster, shouting at the sun in an imaginary foreign language, humming and drumming.
The ideal rain dance for you is just beyond the limit of what you feel you can get away with in a public place.
To save yourself the embarrassment of having to explain why you're pounding around in a circle like an angry giant whilst chanting nonsensical phrases and shouting obscenities at the sky, here are some alternative suggestions, to tease those droplets from the clouds.
Leave your car sunroof open.
Plan a barbecue
Greet a stranger with the phrase "Ooh, lovely weather we're having, isn't it?"
Dress in tissue paper
Hang your washing out
Take a day out at the seaside
Have a picnic
Get the lawnmower out
;D ;D

Looked good here for a while about 5ish. It started to blow up, went dark, then rained for about 2 minutes. What a disappointment, all that build up then nothing.

Now then 'Bugsy' behave or i'll arrange for 'bigangus' to pay you a visit ;D ;D.....while you are over in Ireland, the raindance worked we have had 1/2" in the last hour and more to come, the Dee is up 4" in Corwen today with a release of water from Bala....keep dancing guys and we'll meet the bonanza it brings, we need at least 4" of Rain to fall in the next 2 days to make any difference, its so dry up here, the lake infront of the house is down 2 feet, if it happens 'Bugsy's prediction will be right. now then boys ;D where have i heard that saying before "think it was a welshman somewhere" yesterday afternoon i was in corwen paas water in bouncing rain storms and saw 5 salmon 4 fresh ones and they didnt want to play even with the demon worms... then a mile or so down stream to see if there was any seatrout about but i knew i was pushing my luck sep 27th...bit too late really , i did miss 2 vicious takes though that was my last seatrout visit on the dee anyway its cold of a night now . i have had a fantastic year of seatrout fishing on the dee and am pleased i have come away as keen now as ever before, and that i have fished at every given opportunity often 4 or more nights a week ( when is the wife gonna take the hint) ;D and have fished with some of the finest men a man can ever wish to meet, very lucky indeed the rain was bouncing down as predicted in the posts above ... grayling running around naked i did pass a man on the way home though!! being assisted into a white sunshine van with a blanket wrapped around him ;D ;D ;D ;D
