I've just registered but to be honest I don't like the layout at all.
I was also hoping that Invicta would have done away with the "stars" system and the way members progress from Jr to 5 star member, as it would have discouraged new members posting c**p just to progress quickly.
While my contribution to this forum has been reduced recently due to work commitments, I really can't see myself contributing significanlty to another new forum.
I hope you guys don't mind if it is just the new Dee thread that I occasionally post under, just to keep in contact?
Tango - if you're out Saturday and the Dee is fishable, then it would be nice to meet up! It could be a farewell to the old forum day! ;D

I fished at Llandderfel today in filthy weather. A sporadic mixed hatch of midge, clouds of aphids, a few yellow may dun, some sedge, a few daddy longlegs, one mayfly and the odd LDO before the rain set in and the temperature dropped 10 degrees.
A few fish were on the move and I picked up a brown and a half a dozen grayling on small nymphs fished standard wet in the first hour or so. The only real rise of the day came about midday when the fish turned on to something very small and I got a few on a Size 18 black f-fly.
Once the rain set in and the temperature dropped the whole thing died. As I left the river at 6:30 it was starting to colour up from feeders putting in with a hint of a rise.

guys,i have signed up to the dee forum ,because i have so much fun with you,but i feel that it may be a mistake, the dee mafia was so popular because it was in the big forum not because it was the forum, PS whats not to like with the new forum.invicta is only trying to protect us from having the plug pulled. jim
