Wind was badly wrong this morning for No3. I managed a small stockie on the bung from the corner but the wind was quite strong and Easterly, blowing from the top end. Walked all around to the Bristol end and managed a lovely 3lb Brown on a buzzer under an intermediate ;D I noticed on the way home a lot of cars parked over in No 1 and amongst them was a red Modoe Estate. Reg DEV ;D ;D ;D Say no more. Tightlines to Blondie and Blobmancometh who are there Tuesday I believe. I shall be on my way across the Channel all being well C.B

well me+flyinthehedge fished no1 yesterday from 7a.m to 6 p.m with 1 fish each to show for our efforts .we both had a couple of knocks but things were very slow.both had our fish on weighted buzzers under a bung.one chap had 3,2 on an intermediate .1 on the floater.plenty of fly life about also with buzzers, lots of hawthorn,a few sedges even the odd daddy long legs.very few fish showing.sounds a bit like chew+blagdon.cheers blondie.

Anybody fished the the Tanks in the past couple of days, have noticed No1 car park empty early morn and late afternoon. Thinking about going tommorow ( Sun) if the fishing has been reasonable. Cheers

Had a few hours here today as i was so P***ed of at Chew. Not a lot moving, saw the odd fish move and a fish taken on No3 but little else, plenty of fly life and conditions good with gentlr breeze and warm with reasonable cloud cover. Glad i talked myself out of a season ticket!!!!!

Had 4 hours at No 3 this morning and it was fishing quite well again. Stockie corner was busy as usual with all the regulars and the fish were moving quite well. I had 3 decent browns on a 14 Black & Green Buzzer under the bung but lost quite a few. It got me thinking that sometimes a bung could be too sensitive and if you're watching for every tremble and dip you sometimes strike too soon and fail to hook up. I think that was the case today. Many regulars on the Barrow only ticket were gloating as continued reports of poor bank fishing at Blagdon and Chew continue to come in. Once again, I know where I'm going tomorrow C.B
