Blondie. If yu're on No3 tomorrow you should be fine ;D I've just got back and managed to snatch 7 in 3 hours. Just park yourself left on the wall as you get to the top of the steps. They were a bit finicky today and you had to really watch the bung carefully. Sometimes it was literally just a ripple around the bung and you could hit the fish. Most colour Buzzers seemed to work between sz 10 - 14. They seemed to like the buzzers twiched every now and again and would hit them as they sank back down. If you don't fancy a bung then just fish a team od 3 buzzers on an 18 ft leader, really slow figure of eight and watch the loop of line from your rod tip to the water, anything unusual "Hit it" ;D Best of Luck C.B

Nice one C.B. They must be stoking the lake quite a bit to maintain the good catches!! Did you keep all the fish, as C+R is hard at the tanks due to the bank height. I spose you could lower them down with your landing net..

Actually I had a major problem today as my Coarse net handle is only a 2 piece and just about reached last week. Problem was this morning, the level was down 6" However I nice gentleman who was fishing next to me allowed me to share his net. It was none other than 'Dev Strickley' ;D ;D You really need a 3 m + handle now. I actually returned all fish bar one that was n't recovering that well Can't make up my mind to go back to the Tanks on Thursday or give Blagdon another go. Wind should be light for Thursday but North Westerly which is no good for 'Stockies Corner' I'm off to the Orvis shop tomorrow ;D C.B

I've just got back and managed to snatch 7 in 3 hours. They were a bit finicky today C.B You are getting spoiled at the moment CB. First you 'only' had 3 in three hours at Blagdon and complained about how difficult the fishing was and now you only had 7 in 3 hours as the fish 'were a bit finicky'. You wait until you go out with me again! I'll soon drag you back down to earth! No more of this '7 fish in three hours' nonsense! You'll be lucky to get a pull in 10! Allrounder ;D

There was a huge eel down on pegs when i went down after school! It was about 3inches thick, and 40cm long, and i think that wa sonly half of it!! One man i spoke to said his friend had 16 fish from a boat up the 'top end' all on green buzzers! A few fish rising, but i feel a spear would have done more damage that my fly Roll on the warm weather!

I'm not surprised about the Eel in one way. I caught a whopping great Eel over twenty years ago on a black lure from Blagdon C.B

Dipper. Where have you been I was getting worried, haven't heard from you since you took your lad to Camely for the day For bungs I use a 'Fish Pimp' in fluro orange. I've had no problem with them although you need to jam a couple of bits of cocktail stick up the tube to stop them flying off if you're a bit energetic with your double hauling ;D C.B
