I have a loop line and it is the best floating line i have ever used.
Better than the worcestershire, SA etc

Get a Barrio - half the price of any of those and the only floater I can cast full out.

Joan Wulff..£50.. Barrio..£16 Michael Evans...£18.50 Snowbee xs £32 Have used all of these lines. For a lake also consider the sshoot slickstream, great for distance. www.sshoot.comFor value the Barrio and Evans lines would me my choice. www.fishingthefly.co.uk www.michaelevans.co.ukThe snowbee xs is probably the best floating line available IMO. www.snowbee.co.uk

The snowbee doesn't crack, but seems to get "pitted" after a while, the coating looks like it has tiny dots on it.
I've had one three seasons and apart from a few nicks, its still going strong.

Barrio Snowbee XS Cortland 444 SL Precision
are my favourites, buy the Barrio from the website, the rest from eBay - you can get the 444SL Precision for £26, albeit you have to wait for one to turn up on auction...

Having tried Sceintific Anglers Ultra, Lee Wulf, Cortland and Snowbee lines my vote is with sshoots slick stream, dead smooth. The line is a cracking floter, presentation at distance is perfect and roll casts beautiful. It's certainly the best distance line i have used and no memory problem.

Snowbee my first choice and then Rio.
Used Snowbee for many seasons and found them excellent. They do discolour but have never had one crack until it was 5 seasons old!! The discolouration of the line doesn't effect its performance at all
PM me if you want either, can probably help you out

I've been using the Barrio and it's a great line, don't let the price put you off.

Wulff for me but as I've said elsewhere I'm not sute they're £20 better than the Snowbee. I'm about to get a Barrio to try though after being impressed by the intermediate model.

Got a couple of Snowbee's, a Worcestershire,an Aircell and assorted others to wear out first. I am a bit tempted to try out the Partridge floater next though, the performance of the Partridge intermediate I recently bought is superb.

Do yourself a favour and pick up a snowbee xs. I used to use a Ultra 4 and thought that was pretty d**n sexy untill i loaded a snowbee #7 through the rings. Super thin, superb control and slick as f#k.
