Hi Ben and all Apologies from me on this one.......it's simply passed me by. Ben, I obviously read your PM and for reasons which I cannot explain (old age maybe) I never sent a reply.....again I must apologise I have to say that the Dee tends to be a little tricky at the end of June, unless your fishing during the last couple of hours. September however is a great month (dries can be devastating if conditions allow). With this in mind and in an attempt to reverse my inexcusable rudeness in this instance, I can offer the services of the Dee during a weekend in September. Again apologies to all Bugsy

Who is the Cocktail Cabinet?! Fluffchucka I have taken the liberty of sticking your name down, on a provisional basis. Please confirm one way or another. Have added one more space. To be honest there is no real limit to how many can come. It is a big campsite and there are miles of river! Indicate by posting or PM if you would like to come and I will amend as necessary.
Will post more details soon.
Cheers,
Ben

Hi Ben,
I have only just come across this thread but would be very interested having just returned from my first social event on the dee at the weekend. We had a great time but I have to disagree with you on that "river fishing not being social. We were talking and joking around quite a bit not to mention swapping hip-flasks for a taste of the local oxo whiskey (long story) or Slo Vodka!!
