Trust me, I'm nobody of any great significance. I know a couple of the names on the board and recognise some of the leven lads, a couple of whom can fish a bit.

Been of line for a couple of days , but hey , didn't that stir up a hornet's nest. Big rex, you must only fish it 60 or 70 times a season, you must need more, ha only joking. I reckon the nerves are getting to you a bit we did notice the nails getting bitten to a pulp the week before the comps.. Are you fishing the prelims this year again? Hows the we one?
Yes the loch opens on the 15th April. Not many boats out. 5000 going in before the first day then hopefully 2000 per week there after.
There are still places left for the classic if anyones interested.
My bosses are still not allowing me to fish it.
Anyone fancey going out on the first day get in touch.
Camshy, you are tottally right to stick with your guns on your comment. I do not always put things down on paper as I mean. Can't be bothered typing. I know it must be difficult to take as much time out as needs for comps, I myself failed at the lake last year in my semi cause of that very reason, turned up on the day, listened to one or 2 people telling it must be static or it wont work. Went in at night and the qualifiers were catching fish striping like maniacs. So partly to do with me not practising, and the water being differant on the day, just like leven.
I'm sure al catch up with some of you during the the season, have a good one if not.
Michael

Keith and him came thru to the Lake today and showed us how its done and he says wee Forbsie is a Leprechaun !!! mind you i think they were using those nasty booby things ? how could they ? sacrilege.
Tight lines mate and hope you have a great season on the Loch

I was told by someone at the weekend ( and he knows what he's talking about) the prelims on certain waters are catch and release this year!. Once you catch Half the fishery limit for instance Carron "3fish" ( £32 for entry) then catch and release. No swapping boatman req .in fact no boatman req . and no debarb. Is it just me or have SANA left themselves open for a barrage of complaints once again. Call me a pesimist but how easy is this system going to be to cheat for the desperados.

in reality you have never had to have a boatman exept in the final.this has never been made clear, but it will be next year and the debarb rule will not come in untill next year .i'm not sure if some venues are doing c+r this year but it is possible. all venues will have capped weight limits.

Yes 2lb for Carron around 4 times the average wild fish! and 4lb for other venues ( rainbow waters) not even twice the average some consistency that. And beleive me it is catch and release on the Lake, Carron and Leven. Lintrathen is time bonus, not sure about Awe....... should have chosen the Awe
