For bank fishing on the Saturday is it worth bringing waders??
Also, from posts previously it seems like a sinking line may be worth having. However, I have never needed to use a sinking line so I don't own one. Nearest I have is a fast glass.
Rather than paying £30 for the seemingly ubiquitous Di7, does anyone make a cheap and cheerful one that will be OK for very occassional use?

Blobs, Blobs, Blobs. You need Blobs and then you'll need some more [glow=red,2,300] Blobs[/glow]........... How could I forget? cwality ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Chew opens its doors to season ticket holders next Tuesday and CB and I will be there bright and early. Even if it snows. Well ... I'll be there even if it snows but I'm not sure about CB. Expect a report on Tuesday evening Allrounder ;D

Job67.
Waders would be useful.... sometimes you have to wade out to get in contact with the fish.
But at some times of the year, you cant wade because the water infront of you is so deep....

Morning Dipper ! Bloody snow here I'm going to P.M Allrounder today to sort ouot where we'll start on Tuesday. The wind is set for South West so Nunnery should be a good choice. Either that or possibly Moreton or Wick We'll put up a report on Tuesday evening C.B

Dipper Nunnery Point is always a good bet because you are fishing into deep water but it can get busy. Fortunately the earlier 'season ticket holders only' day has eased this in recent years. Last year I started on the North Shore (1 fish) then moved to Nunnery (1 fish) then on to Moreton as the wind got progressively worse. I didn't get my limit but I had 6 fish plus a 7lb pike so I was well pleased. CB and I have yet to make our final plans but my guess is that the direction of the wind in relation to depth of the water will decide where we start first. Allrounder ;D

Does anyone know if the field we are camping in has a clean water supply nearby?

Im sure the people who live localy (me included) can bring down all the water we need. Maybe sombody could buy a couple of those big clear plastic bottles, that you use when you go camping. I think they are only a couple of quid. If sombody could do that it would be a help. Then they could be filled. The farm near the field we are staying in does have a water suply, but only in there house. ;( Trout
