Had a great day on Friday, even if my boat partner caught and I didn't - well done Tom. It was nice to put some faces to names. Thanks also to those who helped me remove the keys that I locked inside my car boot!
Thanks to Chris for organising it. And I'd just like to say it was a pleasure to share a boat with you Tom.

>>offence to LG's casting
Oi! I'll get you. LG played a larch tree for a while... from the boat.
Thanks to Chris for organising it. Oh and for bringing me a bag of non-fish catching flies! To CB for the witty comments as we rowed against a 25mph headwind, shipping it green. & Trout for finding the wettest field this side of Constantinople - improved by finding a Chef who did breakfast for the 5000. & all for a great time.
Oh yesh. An' to wesht countryboy for providingsh the 'apple juish' the remnantsh of whcih we 'won' and are now drinhkshing. Hic!

Now I'm really confused. Why is LG signing Rosie's posts and talking to himself? Is this yet another case of mutilple members (oooh, sounds like something from a porn film). ;D

I warned everyone to treat it with respect but obviously they didn't pass the message on. ;D It was the least I could do given the terrible weather and after you had all travelled so far . Hi people. Been away for a week so only just seen the updates on this thread. Thanks to everone who made the social happen, and thanks to all those who came down in such bad weather, you were all a good laugh. the fishing wasn't too good, but i think most people managed a fish or two. I myself had one on the boat on friday. the fishing was quite poor, but i had good company and it was a great experience. Definatly somthing to do again later in the year. I tried green lawn on satrday but had no luck except from 1 pull, like lots of people. Hope to see some of you at the back end of the season for a bank fishing session ! trout
