What LG omitted to say is that his 'springer' was in fact some road kill which was half savaged by an otter or summat by the side of the road...
Some folk will do anything to get the springer kudos... ;D

Thanks for a great three days, Mick & Jo - I didn't know it was possible for any human being to drink like a fish. I thought I'd post a picture of the fish pie made from my 15lb Dee springer. Yummy - much better than the picture. I also caught a brace of kelts which was jolly exciting. My understanding of the Dee District Salmon Fishing Board (DDSFB) rules is that all salmon are to be returned alive to the river. Why did you find it necessary to kill the fish for a pie?
