Could we all please stop confusing the name Dafydd with the non-welsh construction Daffyd, or am I being untypically anal? Sorry Cothi, name changed to Daffyd as it is for the character.

Diolch o galon Spy1 a Bugsy. Penwythnos arbennig. Superb summs up the weekend nicely I think. Laughed so much Saturday night my cheeks were aching Sunday morning, not in a Daffyd way! Great to meet you all, really was a great gathering. What a fabulous stretch of water, and the stamp of fish was incredible. Lighthouse, I would implore you to reconsider changing your handle. It was such an insight, and I must say privilege to have fished with a gentleman/scholar of your stature/calibre. Your insight into all things piscatorial was astonishing; I look forward to the release of your book. If I may be so bold, may I request a signed copy? ;D Here are some photos from the gathering: Lighthouse, true to form: Bugsy strikes, again! Hoppy' cracker: Will be hard to beat guys and gals. Ah well, we will have fun trying Teifi Binfishin!

Hello,
I would just like to say a big thank you for an excellent weekend. Had a fantastic time, fishing was great, the pub evening was a right laugh and the B&B was also very good. I think the best thing that made the weekend was definitely the people. You were all very friendly and helpful. Not only did I catch 3 personal best Grayling but also learned a great deal in the process.
A big well done to TP on that Monster. By the way Steph, how did you guys get on yesterday upstream?
PS: The photo’s look great guys and looking forward to meeting everyone again in the future I hope.
Thanks again, Oli…

Hey Oli, Great to have met you, and well done on your grayling catch. Fishing upstream was good, but they were really sharp. Managed a few to clear the grolsch/bud head. Forgot to thank Tango51 in my last post. Thanks a lot for the 'gear', very kind of you and it was great to have met you. I was amazed to see the quality of your tying after just 12 months well done mate. Teifi Binfishin - Steff.

Hi again guys, it's going to take me a month to look at all these posts and photo's. Just seen that sneeky pic of me hogging the hot spot taken by Paul Evans. Wasn't that when everyone else was down the pub!!! haha. Also just remembered Gwilym's night fishing story. QUALITY! Not laughed so much in years.

It's lovely to hear you all had a great weekend, and I'm glad the river was perfect! I'm just really disappointed I couldn't make it. Lot's of nice pictures, and it looks like congratulations all round! T.P - a fantastic fish, why not use it as an avatar? Guess you'll be thinking of moving to the Dee valley! Tango - I can't believe you blanked again? I'll be across to the Dee once the level drops (it's risen quite a bit overnight), and it would be nice to meet up with yourself and JAD before the end of the season.

Tango - I can't believe you blanked again? It's what I do best ;D It's no good if everybody catches, who are you all going to take the p1ss out of? I'm busy for the next two weekends, looks like the last 2 weeks of the season is my last chance, depending on the river of course. Roll on April ;D ;D

Hi Moustique I'm all for meeting up with you and Tango all we have to do is get a date sorted I was telling my wife about that lovely big Grayling that Spyo caught and she said its got a lot to do with the female Pheromone's. If you remember the record Salmon was caught by a lady fisher and it was 64lb. So the only advice I can give to you men out there is before you fish get your wife or girlfriend to play with your flies before you fish ;D ;D JAD

glad you had a good time 3lber and thanks for being so much fun, and thank you for my WAGBI badge it was very kind its now in place , and you didn't really look like that William Wallace with that wig on Tango thanks for a great brekie on Sunday morning and was impressed with your domestic skills and the amazing ability to get all the food on the plate at once and hot, although i did hear you shouting at the dog as he had your sausage in his mouth T.P i feel i have to thank you in some way for taking the attention off my large grayling that i caught as i get a little embarrassed by the attention, also for untraining my gundog Paddy who is near the end of his basic training and is 1 today , he now runs in at every chance and walks to heel on my right and 10 yards ahead, i have since sold the stop whistle as it wont be required, he also enjoys chewing his turner Richard dummies a new found skill, i thank you Spy1 thanks for the pm regards our Ireland trip and sleeping arrangements .....bring the wig lighthouse did you see they kept us apart, can you imagine what havoc we cause together A big thankyou to Spy1's wife as she cooked a large pan of homemade soup for us to have in the HQ on the banks of the welsh dee. Although tango said yer missus opens a mean can!!!!!! ......typical pikeys Well done Bugsy for the event
