Diolch yn fawr Spy1 and Bugsy.
A privilege to fish such beautiful water and have the chance to watch and learn............. and oh the fish!!!!!!!!!!
It's not often you get the chance to increase your PB for a grayling by over a pound - fabulous.
(Despite Steffan's insistence, I will not be changing my 'handle' to Grayling Guru - modesty doesn't permit! ;D)
Finally, BIGUP SPY0! Magnificent.

Had a great weekend, thankyou to all those that gave me advice and especially to Bugsy and Spy 1 for allowing a complete beginner to fish such a nice river, after catching a few it has certainly gotten me interested in doing alot more river fishing . Also nice to meet some more forum members, hope to meet you all again sometime. Paul

I would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for a great weekend.
Great company, lots of laughs and for once the fish decided to play............so much for your smugness and smart @rsed comments now eh Grayling ;D
We caught some superb fish.........not forgetting 'that one' by TP.
Highlight of the weekend?...........Underwood catching a belter yesterday and running 12 miles to tell Seaweed?
Underwood catching an even bigger one today and falling in the river?
TP's monster?
Spy 1's wig?
Lighthouse's PB increasing each time he caught a fish?
3lber losing his virginity?
For me.......the feckin porpoise story......priceless ;D ;D ;
Thanks again folks
Bugsy

Wot a bleedin weekend I've ad then really 'fecked' up yesterday morning , I'd taken up sanctuary in some slack water above the A5 road bridge I chanced moving upstream a bit watchin out for them there spies and was munchin on sum o dem caddis thingys that were floating down, well they were sweet, when all of the sudden, yeah you've guessed it, I made a mistake and got greedy, I didn't give up easily and ended up in one of them pan nets, well I was beside myself, this 'hctib' was trying to 'toss' me up in the air as if I was a pancacke in a frying pan and screaming her head off, good job one of them there spies was about to calm er down......then....after about four hundred and eighty six pictures.....I ad a and got back to where I belong. You think it ended there 'feck', no I took off at speed and went down below Corwen and into a deep hole in that 'holy' pool, what? oh ok the 'Viccarage Pool' only to fall victim again to one of them bleedin spies......but..... this time I did the somersalt weave tuck slack, slapped the line and I was off grayling

Could we all please stop confusing the name Dafydd with the non-welsh construction Daffyd, or am I being untypically anal?
