Two years off the fags now. (I was on 30 per day.) Well happy to be off them.
A nice little bonus is at Christmas I spend what I would have spent on fags on a very selfish treat. Last year it was a new Sage and this year is a fishing trip to Slovenia.
Get off them!

Still off them since Jan 1st. Have the occasional urge when I'm out for a drink with a smoker but otherwise I seem to be over it.

Well done all you ex smokers........ I've been off the fags for a few years now and with some of the money I've saved I have been able to buy an exercise bike to help me lose the 3 stone in weight I've put on.Ho Hum. GM

Hi Seven weeks now - just about £500 saved. This is unbelievable. I still find it difficult though. I'd love to hear how all the rest of you are getting on. Bruce, didn't you stop over a year ago? did you crack it in the end. Cheers Stewart Give up smoking and you can buy a new Sage XP every 7 weeks!!!! Some incentive!!! rusty

I am past the 5 month stage and find no problem at all now. To date Mr Rothman has bought me some really useful items that include a digital camera and Bolle sunglasses: already have a Loomis and not a Sage fan so Mr Rothman may have to stump up for a fishing trip next - Slovenia for Marble Trout or Brittish Columbia for Sturgeon/Salmon? Now that is the sort of dilema that could have you reaching for a cig (Nahh!!).
Glad to hear that so many others are joining the ranks of us 'born again non-smokers': Sad to see so many young ladies smoking!

Flipped it to the top again, no excuses pure self indulgence, 3 months now nicotine free and never felt better.

Hope everyone else is managing to stay clear of the weed? 6 months today for me, so out celebrating tonight with a nice meal. I must be one of the luckier ones, having only put on 10 lbs and still am under weight! All those lovely presents from Mr Rothman and Messrs Lambert & Butler, fantastic.
