Hi
I have been flyfishing on and off now for 5 years in Scotland and England, at a stage where my casting, equipment etc is at an average to good level but could really use a fishing partner to learn more from and exchange ideas as most of my skills have been self taught. It would be good to have a fishing partner to have some company for banter etc on trips - mainly Bewl at the moment but looking for trips further afield as well.
regards sinan

Sinan
I have been fishing for around thirty years and have been in many fishing teams Scotland, England and Canada. But that does not make me an old f**t as I'm still in my thirties and have fished most waters in England. I have also fished many competitions B&H, Hardy and have a good deal of information if you would like to pick my brain. If you do manage to get north of London I'm sure that I could manage a day on one of the better waters.

I'll fish with you at Bewl sometime. Weekends are best as I'm working 8-5 on weekdays although I do get every other Friday off.
I fished Bewl last Friday for an evening session and ended up with 5 fish.
Give me an e-mail with some dates and maybe we can sort something out
Chris

Should you fancy some good early autumn grayling ,this old F--t could be your answer .If you drive and arent too partial to large amounts of drink a good relationship could develop . BTW I,m looking for a left handed boat partner .

BTW I,m looking for a left handed boat partner . well, keep your hands off mine - when your dinghy is only 10'6" a left /right partnership is the only way to go!

BTW I,m looking for a left handed boat partner . Andy, I'm a 'leftie'. No previous experience of big reservoir fishing, (though have done a little lough drifting over the years) and would welcome the chance to learn from an experienced hand. Would love to join you sometime.

CH: "Andy, I'm a 'leftie'..."
Ah, I had suspected as much.
We lefties need to stick together, Charles.

AS a rabid right hander ,politically some where between Richard W and Ghengiz Khan I appreciate the need for balance . The political stance is non existant I find left hand casting a canine female ,had a bad experience yesterday with a reversed overhead cast down at Leckford where I was attempting to prsent a fly to the best Grayling I have seem taking spinner for many years ,I made a right pigs breakfast of it ,in need of major practice session .

We lefties need to stick together, Charles. Yes indeed, though I doubt this extends to going afloat in a small boat. Two lefties would have just the same problem as two righties. As Andy says, balance is the key, eh?

Charlie,
Syon Park will be shut for the whole of August for draining. Currently it is full of weed and not very enjoyable.
Your other options close to Chertsey are Halliford Mere in Shepperton of any of the other Albury fisheries.
