Received delivery of this during the week and had a go on Saturday, when I was wading, at times up to my waist, and also did a bit of bank fishing. First impressions were of a strange shaped landing net, very very light (240 grams according to the blurb) with quite a deep net. Strapped it to my waist, went in the river and started fishing. This is the first time I have ever used any form of stripping net/basket/type thing so it took a bit of getting used to. Once I used to it however I loved it. No more tangled line under foot, or line going around, between my legs being washed backwards in the current. Made casting a lot easier as well. After catching a particularly fiesty wild broonie, the net released very well, and worked exactly how a net should. The only thing I will say, was that the net is quite deep (ideal says the blurb for any seat trout, and even some smaller salmon) which makes C&R slightly tricky. Think I might remedy this by shortening the net. All in all very pleased with my buy, the only downside is that I will have one less bit of tackle hanging from my vest, which lets face it makes us feel like real fishermen
