Hi Mike, I saw these advertised in one of this months magazines. Might have been "Trout & Salmon" or maybe "Trout Fisherman". I know they look pretty basic and a bit featureless. Other than that, no idea mate.

Thanks for the reply underwood. I also saw the ad - thats what sparked my interest.
I like the basic look - but I'm concerned that such a small company might not have the resources to build a reliable drag system etc.

To be fair, you could get a dozen or so of the "Dutch" reels for the price of one from L H... (nearest I could find to boggling in the smilies) richard

The Dutch fly reels are dummed down Ari T'Hart reels, same drag, cheaper metal and build, made under license to ATH. If you want original Ari t' Hart reels i.e Orbigo (medium #6/7) Traun (small#4/5) or Lake Taupo (large #7/8) I can still get them in the original design and by the original toolmaker/machinest. I import direct from them. The original reels will not let you down, drags waterproof to several metres, still the smoothest out there, on a par with Abel Shilton etc. Let me know

Thanks for the info Jim and Pisca. Have two abels actually. ;D so not looking for something to compare to them - just something different. Invariably I end up with cheap rods because I spend too much on reels. I know, I know, but I just like nice fly reels.
