Has anyone used this new "Frog Hair" tippet? What's it like and what is it's best use?

A friend gave me a spool to try, tried it but to be honest I still prefer Stroft. Maybe just the fact that Stroft has never let me down.

Nice supple stuff, that frog hair. I use the copolymer now and then and find it very good - a bit pricey though....

Good stuff, I'd recommend it. Strong for it's diameter, but a lot more robust than most low-diameter lines IMHO. My first choice for surface fishing.

I have used it for the first time this season. It is very good on the surface and for nymphing. I use the 4.9lb version and have had some excellent fish on it.
Good luck pal,
Robbie

I use the co-polymer for dries and its seem pretty good no complaints, a bit pricey as they say, I use Riverge for fishing a team of wets, its seem to make the droppers hang out nicely for the dap

For subsurface fishing I use Riverge or the "Grand Max" version. Strength to diameter ratio is great, abraision resistance is good and it works well for droppers.
As it's cheaper than Frog Hair is their any reason to switch?
