Should really have posted this before purchasing it but hey i have always been to trigger happy.
Just purchased this rod for fishing abroad.
Any one used one and got any comments on them ?

Just sold a 7 weight ;D.
Only used it a couple of times,but got on with it ok.Only sold it as i had two 'bloke's' given to me and a recent purchase of an 'airflo'.

wigger i had one of these rods it was like casting with a brush handle they r really stiff no give at all picked it up on ebay for 20 quid ...

have found the tip ring to be a wee problem as it is not properly finished and the line can catch on the back cast through time this may cause considerable dammage
solution replace tip ring
have been told by a couple of british casting champs its a rod that does what youd expect and is suitable as first rod
will let kids loose with it to practice

have a reel broom of a rod a 3 piece fladden 7/8 same tip ring problem and its nice to cast the 6/7 weight
