Hi All,
Once again, I'm hoping to benefit from your collective experience.
I'm in the market for a wading vest or chest pack & the variety on offer seems endless. Unfortunately, funds are limited so value for money must be a consideration.
Which style do you prefer [vest / pack] & why? What are your experiences / recommendations?

Splash2 Splash2, it is all down to your personal preferences, personally I like fishing with a chest pack, but another person would say that their like fishing with a vest.

Hi Splash 2. Chest pack every time for me as well, but is up to you Before I posted this I was leaning toward a chest pack, rather than a vest, but I wanted to get some opinions before I commit to buy anything. Which brand do you favour?

The William Joseph "Brokeback Mountain" back is a good choice for the "Light loafered" gent.

I saw an army webbing style vest that looked like a cross between the two, I think it was in a recent magazine.

I go for an Orvis Super Tac-L-Pak, although I also use a Klobba vest pack for my piking trips. ;D
