I agree with all that been said re these lines, best value fly line in the UK and also British made.
I'm also on my 2nd season with both the floater and the intermediate , so i can say the durability is also good.

Can only confirm the above views. I christened my new WF5F Barrio line on the River Piddle last Monday and it performed very well indeed. These lines are astonishing value for money, well done Mike Barrio ;D

I thought I'd add my two pennorth now I've had a chance to try out my new Barrio #7 line This is a superb line that has virtually no memory and is perfect for almost all floating line situations. Note that I said 'almost all'. I have to say that I could not cast the #7 Barrio as far as I could my previous Snowbee #7 by a good few yards so it may not be the best floating WF line around for long distance work. Not sure why this was. However, without actually comparing them I got the feeling that the running line was slightly thicker on the Barrio than on the Snowbee or maybe I need to treat it with silicone (Amorite) to make it more slick although I'm sure that some unkind person reading this will suggest I need casting lessons! Having said that, this line is less than half the price of the Snowbee and that makes it astonishingly good value for money. If you are after a new floater and are a tight budget then look no further. Allrounder ;D

I got told i needed casting lessons and that was on a thread about flurocarbon! Cut me right to the bone it did. Can no longer cast in public. Thinking about taking up carp fishing. Very near suicidal.

I got told i needed casting lessons and that was on a thread about flurocarbon! Cut me right to the bone it did. Can no longer cast in public. Thinking about taking up carp fishing. Very near suicidal. The main thing is, you enjoy your fishing. Not everybody needs to cast to 100ft +.

Dont worry Treenymph the one that told you had to learn themselves once and maybe they only THINK they can cast. Dont let that destroy you confidence. If you feel so bad re install your confidence by booking yourself a lesson with an AAPGAI, perfect your technique and prove just how bad they are.

I got a WF5 glass intermediate a week ago. Nice line, casts well, virtually no memory and it's nice to support a local business that's putting out top notch products.
