i guess modern loch style fishign includes more use of intermediates and sinkers than short lining with a long rod and a floating line - short lining is still very effective here on its day but i cant say that i enjoy using a di3 or a di6 with an 11 foot rod.

I am interested in purchasing a sage 11' No6 for loch style. Any comments regarding performance and the best deals to purchase I fish lough style most of the time and I use the 10ft xp 6100,,,its perfect for loughs. Throughs a huge line out you can dap the top dropper with ease and the 10ft lies down easily in a boat (lough sheelin/anglers fancy) and doesnt get in the way I have already convinced others to lay the 11ft's down and try the 10ft'ers
