Loop Classics are really great; worth every penny, I have several ones, and love them all Hans.

Hans,
Are they already in the shops? I have couple of Loop Traditionals, but can't afford Classics...

Hi
I'm thinking of buying the 911 Classic reel for Salmon fishing. Just a bit concerned that I might miss the exposed rim for additional braking - old habits die hard. Any good deals going? Is it worth importing from Australia at about £350 sterling into the UK? They look brilliant.
Any comments welcome.
Thanks,
Clobemonman.

That's got to be crazy money for a reel I never thought I'd see the day when THE tackle tart said that. You must be slipping CB, better have a browse in the Sportfish catalogue. ;D

LTS had one in for some guy. Have to say I laughed my head off when I had a play with it. The ratchet noise is reminiscent of those football rattles that were used in days of old. Sounds more like a "bite alarm" if you ask me. The reel looked nice though, but the noise it made....................!!!!!
Still, whatever floats your boat I suppose, but it surely sank mine!!!!
