I will be spending a few days near Hamilton next week.
Any recommendations for areas to fish?
Any flies that I should tie in advance?
Rgds,
Greg

I will agree with that. Have not fished it for some years but Wolfe Clyde Bridge is a good starting point. Nice water up & downsteam with some nice Trout. Flies: If you can get some Clyde Style I would suggest Greenwell's Glory Teal & Red Black Spider Hen Blackie & Sandfly Other than that a few olive representations are handy as is a Partridge & Orange & Blae & Black & a few Hares Ear nymphs Tight Lines

3lbgrayling and highlander.
Thank you both for your advice and suggestions.
I'll let you know how I got on when I return.

I had two stonking Brown Trout last week on Lamington caught on a very slim Black Spider.
Lamington is well worth £30.00 per season.
