Tie the dry on, then the nymph NZ style to the bend of the hook, no more than 2" between them.

Still get the tangles though ;D Use heavier mono then! I always find strimmer cord to be fairly tangle free. Cheers, Alan.

wait untill it's evening then use a combination of nymph and dry. the washing line set up works well in still water. dry on point then nymph on droppers fish v slowly or static. I got 2 last night with that method.

Cheers guys nothing really made a difference, no anglers caught. I only caught a jack pike.Sat down and watched the tench,eels,perch,pike,carp and trout swim pass winking at me , the water was gin clear very little water movement, but i did get a nice tan
