So I'm off fishing again tomorrow after work as it's forecast more of the today like weather. I'm going to start on, Buzzers because I am determined to master it but I thought as the sun started to set, I would switch to dry. Now last week a guy was doing well on, Black Gnat so I thought I would try those. I have decided that I want to attach a nymph to my dry on a, New Zealand stylie. Now the question is, is there a certain, nymph I should be attaching or does it not really matter. Also what length of dropper should I use off my dry fly, do I Xink my, nymph and put, Fullers Earth on my dry leader and lastly what do I do if a fish takes both flies (now theres dreaming) Thanks

just thinking maybe mono to the dry fly(floats better) and floro to the nymph(sinks better). A well ginked dry shoud keep the nymph(a buzzer might be lighter) up in the water, act as an indicator and also an attractor.
And if fish take both flies, go easy on the clutch and let them play themselves out, they will keep each other hooked and tire like normal. Seen big brownies in tandem landed before.

Yeah, why not use a buzzer as the drop - I really want you to catch something on a buzzer after all your effort!

Just one point, if you do hook 2 at once - it happens - do not bet your house on landing both fish or even one of them. Two fish pulling in totally different directions will put terrific stress on the dropper knot and there's a good chance it will break.
I've managed to land both just once, but must have lost one or both several other times.
If you are lucky - net the bigger fish first ;D

mate, if you hook two fish - with your current success rate - get elvis to hold the net when you land them!!
