Due to a cancellation, Iceland’s Lax-A Angling Club are able to offer 3 rods fishing at the Acha camp on the Ponoi from July 1st-8th 2006.
This is one of the Ponoi’s most productive weeks - contributing to its reputation as one of the most productive salmon rivers in the world.
Lax-A Angling Club’s Steffan Juhl views this as one of the best weeks during the long Ponoi season - catch records from the previous two years show that the 10 anglers fishing this particular week could expect between 250-400 salmon.
And in 2006, anglers will benefit from comfortable new accommodation - with wooden floors and stoves.
