brilliant braveheart. Has given me renewed confidence with the gp tippets. normally i exclude them and end up with a fly i have no confidence in.

As a last resort, if you still can't get the GP wing correct tie them in as a bunch. I've seen a few done that way, they may not look as pretty but I'm sure the fish wont mind.

Superb fly! I add just a couple of strands of orange twinkle as stated, in the tail and use a flourescent red floss for the rear.

Great tying sequence BH.
I have to admit that I catch more fish on the Red Allys - just change the orange bucktail and hackle to red. I also like long tails with silver crystal flash.
