I am hoping to take a holiday in Normandy in July this year. Can anyone give me some pointers as regards trout fishing in the region in either still or running water?
Thanks in anticipation,
Mugsy

Which place in Normandy, because from Saint-Lo to Le Tréport that's quite big ?
If you're not far from Rouen / Evreux you could try fantastic "no kill and fly only" spots in rivers (Iton, Rouloir, Andelle). Plenty of still waters around as well.

Thanks for the response.
Of course you make a good point, Chiro, when you say that Normandy is a sizeable region. In fact I will be staying in the area of Falaise and Argentan so if anyone knows of any good trout fishing in that specific region, I would be pleased to hear about it.
Thanks again,
Mugsy

Ok so rivers around Evreux are may be too far (> 1h trip), nevertheless other opportunities on the river Touques (rainbow, sea trout) informations here : www.touques-parages.com/ The river Huisne could offer grayling fishing (can't give you more informations, I've never been there) Moulin de Gemages (still water) is well appreciated too (see the link above)
