2 questions really I hope to build a Harrisons 9ft 6in #7/8 with Seymo guides
Can anyone suggest a pattern of guide sizes I should use??
One further point I'm confused over, is how many guides - Harrisons suggest 10 at spacing suggested on there web site. Should I stick to that? or as I have read elsewhere fit 11 guides on a 9ft 6in rod??
Any help appreciated
Andy

andymck,
I would go with the Harrison spacing but if you wished you could do a static distribution test and this might give you some idea if you need the extra ring or not.
As to sizes, I would use a 12 butt ring and then single leg 1x10, 4x7 and 4x6 and the tip which will also be a 6.
Dave.
