Here are my efforts. THe top one is the latest, bottom right was a trial run which turned out to work ok but I learnt lots while building it, its 8'6" but a bit heavy. The split cane is one of my grandfathers rods that i restored last year.

you got the first bit right, not type the url of the IMAGE ONLY then type [/img] at the end, with no spaces. You are trying to display a whole page as an image. to get image url you need to right click on the image, select properties then copy the url displayed. e.g. (type it without the spaces to get it to work) mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/grobbosrods/images/1-picture1.jpgPaul

Hello folks, for those of you who wanted to know its a Rainshadow RX7 9' #5 BLANK which i plan to use for some river fishing this year, but i have to say it looks quite amateurish compared to the pics added to this post(bit embarrasing really) but i will try to do better with my next one,its one of blokes XL50's 9'6" #7 fast tip.

here are some pics of my first build, some of the pics aren't great (still getting the hang of close ups) so please be gentle with me! That is one psychadelic real seat. If Jimi Hendrix was a fisherman... Good work.
