Can I use a general purposed 2-part epoxy to bond a reel seat to a blank or do I need to get the specialist flexicoat stuff?
Thanks

Yes you can - just dont use the fastest curing kind. The slow curing epoxies remains a bit flexible, the fast curing can be brittle after a while. I use the slowest curing Araldit and its so strong that once set its impossible to remove a reel seat again - boiling water, open flame - you name it. However thats not entirely a good thing though, so I would like to switch to Rodbond at some point.
