no bob the control for the speed is done by the transformer,it has settings at 1.5,3,4.5,6,7.5,9volts.I just made the on/off switch from bits out of maplins electronics for about £2

The table cloth is one of those vinyl wipe clean things you get for the summer outside patio. It's horrible but keeps me from getting glue, varnish and stuff on to the normal table top.

my whole building kit is semi-retired. Since moving to NZ it's in the garage in a box. Maybe one day I'll get it going again. Taken up fly tying and fishing instead... :-)

That looks good Beckster ;D What is the motor though and is it easily available That is my difficulty finding a suitable motor that is easily useable Oh and PS Where can I get a chuck Are THEY easily available???
