Went camping this weekend here in Northern Italy and finally caught my first wild trout next to the forest. I casted a few times, and on my second cast, with a fly with a gold bead on it (name?) I caught what I believe was a carp. I'm not sure. Then a few casts later, with a Mayfly, I caught a pretty nice rainbow trout. Here are the pictures. Also, I released them back into the water as I've seen in other pictures. By holding them and letting them sit in my hand while wading in the water. They swam away fine after a few.

Well done with the trout but that's not a carp, the dorsal fin is far too small, my guess would be possibly an ide.

Could be. I have no idea. If it means anything, the picture may make it seem a little too big, when I caught it, it was a little over 5 inches.
