I caught my first ever brownie yesterday at Nant Moel reservoir in South Wales. It took a Wickham's Fancy wet fly from the surface, before it had time to sink. Not a wild fish unfortunately but a little beauty of about a pound and a half. I was quite chuffed. ;D

Lovely looking fish there Mark! Think you may have beaten my brownie there! Nah. I would have preferred a smaller wild fish.

Cracking fish...shame about the water clarity though! The water was crystal clear before I stirred up the mud with my wellies whilst landing the fish.

Lovely yellow bellied trout. Noticed the wickham has a fairly dark wing on it. Is this a variation on the wickham or is it just the light?
