hi rrw it was flat calm tonite fish were bouncing all over the lough ..fishing really well buzzers would be the ticket pitty i dont no how to fish em ....

mourne is a joy in those conditions. try red holo diawl bachs fished real slow on floating lines. is the lake down any yet?

mourne is a joy in those conditions. try red holo diawl bachs fished real slow on floating lines. is the lake down any yet? funny you should say that WP i use flies with a red tail which takes a lot of fish for me IE i normally fish a clan chief with a red and yellow tail size 12 on the dropper when theres a nice wave on it ..

Try size 14 and 16 Bibios aswell they have been doing well for me at Dungonnell and Lough Ash

Why, what's gives it away? The wear and tear on the tail. the colour of the fish, a wild fish of that size will have truly awsome colouring plus the gills look like they have had a battering in the breeding pools.
