Nice Pics mate. Is that Woodbourne middle dam? Me and thewickedpickett had one of our legendary "blanks" there at the start of the year. ;D Woodford is our trump card on such days.

we blanked on the wee north rrw. last season we had a few nice fish out of the middle if you recall that windy night we were up.
How are they fishing this year flyfisher100. this is the first season i have not bothered with DCAL. got fed up having to walk a mile to fish the middle and my favourite the top.
making the bottom all methods is the final straw for me.
is there any word on boats on mourne btw?

very few have boats as far as i'm aware. castlewellan has boats at £10 a day electric engines only. i think lough brickland may have boats now too and a few others. craigavon lakes have boats too.
if lough mourne got boats it would be a stunning lake to fish.

aye i love the top, its been really hard going these past lot of seasons though. i think this is my dads first season in 30 years not fishing it, nearly 15 years for me too. car parking situation is more his concern though.
he had a 3lb brownie last october out of it. but its become a dour lake. i think it has sthg to do with all those trees that were cut down. fly life is not as good.
Killylane is the best for some sport i find. Mourne if the water level drops.

wp park your car at the lane so that your car is in front of the church window the rev will keep an eye on it for you would worry a little more about l/mourne at the mo theres two cars burnt out at the lane leading to it ......

had car window smashed outside church a few years back, dad won't go near it. plus its a sponsored walk to get some fishing and u have to leave too early to get back to the car.
we were parking in a wee spot on the knockagh road but we've decided to give it a miss this year.
