running a little high he who dares wins [ had a couple of browns about the same size no pics though and these out of season grayling. that was today. and yesterday spent the day on a mountain lake in Wales with a good Friend must have done over 500 miles this weekend, but well worth it thanks SB

I reckon its the PAAS stretch on the Dove at Mayfield. Only worth fishing the top 200 metres but some cracking fish in there. Have all the tiny rainbows disappeared?

SB your not far wrong the dove at ashbourn and henmore brook. according to the P.A.A.S book and the local i was speaking to the rainbows are now breading. they are also getting a run of salmon?? the top 200mts is the best the rest is more suited to dry fly SB

Last time I fished there I was getting all my fish on dries even at the top of the stretch.
