Tyneside Anglers and night fishing on border esk

If any tynesiders fancy a buddy for night fishing the border esk for sea trout please let me know. It is a lovely river to fish, but the night time/safety aspects concern me slightly following a bad experience...

Obviously night fishing is very personal affair but .....
I don't chatter on.
I don't bum flies (very often!)
I am reasonably sensible.
I leave drinking for afterwards.
I love fishing
I respect others

Er yes, crossing to the island.
I fished this stretch last weekend tho, saw a couple of fish but no joy
