what i dont like was having to pay £30 if you want to be in a team and fish as a individual so making the team fee £90

Hi Phil, You know the score better than most and that the comp is now two split into two seperate elements/comps: Individual Team
This is to address the previous problems encountered with double entries. Let Richard or Alan know if there is a problem and I'm sure they will do everything they can to assist or help.

The cost of the dual entry is a point the organisers will take on board and it will be addressed for next years competitions, we do give a discount for 2nd and more entries into the competitions however. Having taken over the Competition last year we still have a few things to sort out and we have missed this anonomaly, sorry.
I hope it does not put you off entering this year. If you have any other feedback, ideas etc please don't hesitate to add to the thread as we want to make this a competition everybody wants to support.
Alan & Richard.

PLG, Hi.
I have checked out the entry rules and the first entry as a team member (£45) or individual is £15 but subsequent entries are £10 each. So that would be £10 as an Individual or £30 as a team. I had not read the entry form properly, doh!

Alan, does that mean that when I enter as part of an team, that counts as my "first entry" and to fish the individual on the same venue is a tenner.

so is that now £90 to fish firstly as a team and a individual or £75?

Charlie, Hi.
Yes, The Team Entry would be considered the first entry in all cases as it is easier to administrate. Then all Individual entries after that regardless of heat/venue would be £10 a time. You will need to show that on the entry forms. Subsequent Team entries would be £10 each (£30 per Team) but the team needs to be the same as the initial team entry to stay within the rules, one cannot enter for more than one team.
PLG, Hi.
I made the mistake of paying £15 for a Team entry and then £15 for an individual so will be getting £5 back, and I'm one of the organisers!
The cost to you should be a Team entry of £45 and then if each team member then enters as an individual that would be an extra £30 giving a total of £75 for all 3 team members. The entry form has a section showing where you have entered before so you need to ensure that bit is filled in. Then if you wanted to enter as an Individual in another heat it would still be £10.
It's a bit complicated but should reduce the cost a bit.
Alan.

Alan, Thanks for the clarification.
In that case I've overpaid ! My team captain sent a form in for the Rib event and then I did an individual entry for that too but separately and sent £15.
I'm not worried about a fiver, but if I enter one of the others (unlikely right now) maybe I could knock it off that.
