I know many International anglers here in Wales are of the opinion that International matches would be better fished over two days rather than the one as at present. All two day finals I've taken part in previously have proved far more exciting than any one day comp. Purely because the result after day one is still not guaranteed, especially if it's close. Also teams would have to be able to adapt to sometimes different conditions over the two days, more likely ensuring that the truly better teams do well. Again, most teams are on the water for the full week, so would still have plenty of practice time. And lastly, if due to unfishable conditions on one day, then the other day's results would count. What do others think?

I agree, I think a two day event would be much better. I think it is probably down to the extra day of work and the expense of another night in a hotel that dictates that it is only over the one day. ;D

If a team cannot peak on match day after at least three days practice they don't deserve to win. Fishing another day because a result is close could just result in a close result the next day. There is always going to be a loser.
