Today at my local tackle shop I was talking to a lady who has just become the English Ladies National Rivers Champion. ;D ;D ;D I would like to encourage all other sportsmen and women to encourage and reward success in a very male dominated sport. Congratulations Gina you deserve it for your commitment and dedication. You have done Yorkshire proud. May your success continue in the International arena. Regards Gary

We seem to forget that ladies can compete in Competition and the ladies have entered teams in the European International events as well and done themselves proud. We also forget that the ladies are free to enter any CEFF eliminater in England and compete equally with the men. I can't think of any other sports that can boast this fact.

Don't forget the maggot drowners Gary. We also have the four times world coarse fishing champion and his good lady wife, a champion in her own right, with one world championship and a close second place. As we say in Yorkshire - 'Champion'

I'm hoping for the same Jim. Just had some Welsh trial dates - but there no good to you are they?
How's the new team comp shaping up, or is that all dependant on dates too?
