I want to make a copy of the below fly. It worked well for me last year, and i want to make a few copies, as this one is a bit batterd! any any advise on how to create the orange head would be good. I no longer have the fly, and dont know what it was made of. i was thinking along the lines of green spanflex body and a lightly orange dubed head Thanks...

is the head dubbed? to me it looks like a orange ostrich herl. trout, try and get a better pic and ill let you know..

The fly no longer exists, this picture was taken a while ago. I shall try to recreate it and may post my efforts.

Dark Olive spanflex body. Orange / Rust dubbed head ver lightly 2 wraps maybe. It may also have a dubbed underbody, as you can see a bit of black strands protruding out the back.
It looked like ostrich herl at first, but upon closer inspection, it is indeed dubbing. Looks to be antron.
Let us know how your attempts at recreation turn out.
