Fished it yesterday , was fine lots of Small but lovely wild trout .
best about 1/2lb
Best fly size 14 Greenwell spider .

Been on it a few times msyelf with rrw. caught a lot of wee parr around dunadry this week on goldheads. had a half pounder and a smolt down at muckamore a few weeks back. best fish this season is still from the 3 mile however, pound and a half easy stevie where u fishing it where the clady runs in out of interest? thought i seen u when i was driving by

no mate it was not me , i was futher down stream . good trout for the 3 mile water . well done . hope it went back

are the day tickets still five quid for the six mile i fished the kells water a week back for the first time never got a touch was a bit lost trying to find areas to fish spent most of the day in and out of the car ..

all my fish go back day tickets are a fiver until august. kells should have fished well. me and rrw were on it in march and i was decent. fish well upstream, past the rosspark hotel there.

Myself and the Wicked Pickett fished it yesterday.. River dirty and highish, no fish over 4 inches...

I have seen quite a few Hawthorns about this week, do you get a good hatch on the Sixmile? Was thinking of giving it a go at the weekend.
