Hi new member here, thought I'd come out from lurking. I want to sell my loomis glx, because my fishing priorites have changed. So what would be a fair price for a glx canadian (loomis built) rod, 10 feet 8 weight??

End of the day they are only worth what some one wants to pay ,and how keen you are, in wanting to get rid of the rod. TEXT

Second hand rods of a good quality like the GLoomis for instance never fetch what you think they will. There is quite a mark up on them due to the guarantees that come with these rods. As it has already been said, it all depends of how much someone wants it, but usually if the rods in very good condition, realistically it is only going to be worth half it's original price, at best.
