The felt sole came unstuck from the rubber sole of these boots the other day. They have studs (with flattened bottoms and the ends poke through the felt) but they do not go into the sole of the boot so offer no extra adhesion.
What is the best glue to use to restick them?

They have studs (with flattened bottoms and the ends poke through the felt) but they do not go into the sole of the boot so offer no extra adhesion. What is the best glue to use to restick them? I had a pair of what were possibly the very same boots and had the same problem with them. The soles of both boots came away from the toe of the boot over a period of a few days whilst I was in Spain, I mention that because I'm not sure whether high temperatures had any effect on the boots. I took a tumble or two just trying to wade back to the bank in heavy water with a sole flapping and it was frankly quite dangerous. I just got a soaking, quite nice with air temperatures of over 90 oF, but in colder water it would have been a different thing altogether. I should say that they were by no means new but it was strange that they both go at the same time. I managed a temporary repair by unscrewing all the studs and repositioning them and pushing down hard to ensure that they got at least a slight grip on the boot sole but all attempts to glue the sole back with Araldite ultimately failed and I ended up buying new boots. I got a pair of Loop all leather boots for £100 in the Fishtec sale and they are the most comfortable I've ever had.

Take them to a cobblers and get the sole glued and nailed to the boot!

Thanks, Sewinman and JayP. I am not sure that these boots are up to cobbling, they have a rubber base sole onto which the felt was glued with the studs poking through the felt but not attached to the rubber sole other than being glued in as well.
I have tried glueing them with aquasure and will report on progress.
Probably a classic case of buying cheap buying twice!?

Are they the comfort zone boots?
I had a pair of those which did exactly the same - absolute crap if you ask me!
