The best line cleaner in my opinion is Armour All car dashboard cleaner. Takes all the crap off and leaves he line super slick.
£3.99 from any car accessory shop.
Spray liberally on a cloth, and pull the line through a few times until clean.

Hi Patsolver
Dont fall for the special treatment crap Baby wipes £2 a pack and last years or use soapy water and run through wet and then dry cloth. Job done

Well patsolver, all the guys are right. First find out what your lines outer coating is ,it will more than likely be PVC/vinyl . Wash your line in warm, not hot water with alittle soap in it, pull though a soapy sponge or cloth, then rinse and dry. In most cases that should be enough, but we anglers are never satisfied. ;DYou could use a commercial line cleaner/conditioner or Armor-all, i am at the moment trying Auto Glym vinyl + rubber cleaner, these cleaners have silicon and UV protectors in them so help shoot-ability and the life of your line. The choice is yours Armor-all dashboard wipes are handy for the bank, it will give your line a quick clean and help you get that line shooting out

I used to use Loon's line treatment stuff, but now I use Armor all, I've not noticed any (real) difference with Armor all and its a lot cheaper.

Armor all seems popular. Is it ok for both floaters and sinkers ? birdsnest

NO!!!! DONT PUT IT NEAR SINKERS...YOU'LL END UP WITH A FLOATING LINE!!! Im not sure it would rrw35, its not the outer coating that makes the line sink, but the inner construction, i used Armor-all on my inter and fast sink and have had no problems, having said that i only did it once ;D
