I reckon Green. Green lettering on a green background. With green detail. Or maybe Khaki. I grew out of garish colours when I grew out of... garish colours.

grey is the colour, any coloured embroidered logo would go. - my humble opinion. Badges - without wishing to upset the ardent badge wearers, well, they are not for everyone, I would never wear a baseball cap, sensible shirt with a sensible logo gets my vote

I think a badge would be great. Much easier to distribute for one thing and no color/size hassles for another. Grouse I agree with TFG Whatever items are finally decided upon, I think the option of a badge should be included. Not everyone who contributes to these boards may be able to afford a fleece or shirt etc. whereas a badge should be affordable to all who wish to demonstrate an affiliation to the site. Dave.

I await a response from Invicta on whether or not we can use the forum name on the shirts and have made it clear that this is non profit.

Above all I hope we come up with a badge. I need a new brand to stick over the top of the Greys one on my waistcoat

The more I think on it, the more I'm coming round to the idea of a baseball cap, and maybe a simple, but good quality, heavyweight, round neck t-shirt. I also think that badges should be made available.
If we decide that baseball caps are one of the items, can we please go for good quality caps with rounded peaks instead of wide brimmed flat peaks that just look silly and will no doubt end up lying at the back of our garden sheds?
My preferred colour scheme for the hat and t-shirt is battleship grey (why do fishermen insist on wearing green? Surely the fish see your silhouette against the sky, meaning green stands out like a sore thumb) with burgundy, brown or green art work.
The badge shape I'd like to see would be a rectangle 3.5-4cmx8-10cm. This way it would easily go on the front of a cap, or as someone else said above, over the manufacturers' logos on our waistcoats etc.

Don't forget to include an " I'm with this idiot" and an arrow left or right. ( Of course Chris will need a special one with the arrow pointing upwards.) Do you reaise that you will all look like American WW2 veterans with your matching hat, shirt, badge and lucky underpants.......you are planning lucky underpants aren't you?

You are planning lucky underpants aren't you? Yes, and a pink thong for you. You could even wear it as a cap too.

Because, unless you're standing on the banks for all to see in some stocked lake or loch, you're supposed to be blending into the greenery around you.
