My First attempt at one of these (i thought that i would show that not all my flies look like charred lumps ;D) so be nice! I apologise that some of the pictures are bigger or smaller that others Hook: Hayabusa #10 Thread: Black Body: Blue Floss Tail: The same blue floss as the bodu Body: Hackle: Blue and Black Cock wound together Rib: Silver Wire Head Hackle: Blue Cock make a nice body of thread (smooth not lumpy) Take some Globrite number 14 and make a tail out of it Now tie in the rib Now tie in a longish piece of blue floss which will be the body Then wind it up Now tie in a Blue Hackle and a Black Hackle wind the hackles (together) down the body and secure with the rib once youve done that tie in another blue hackle as a shoulder hackle and wind Now Whip Finish and sort the tail and VIOLA

Nice tie Andrew of a good fly ;D Only thing I would do different is to tie the palmer hackles in first, that's not to say there is anything wrong with the way you do it, but if you try it the other way you will find that the hackles are more secure and you will also end up with a slightly smaller head.
Well done.
