This one has caught me many a trout and many a trout for others also Hook: - kasmasan B160 Size 16-12 Thread: - Black UTC 70 Body: - Black/Claret/Black Seals Fur I use my own brand Hackle: - Black Cock Hackle 2 or 3 turns max. Step 1: - Insert hook to vice and run your thread down to the bend of the hook. Step 2: - Dub on equal amounts of seals fur, black then split it and then dub claret in the middle. Step 3: - Wind the dubbed body onto the hookshank tightly as shown Step 4: - Tie in your black cock hackle I have use a Hoffman Pro Neck for mine and wind on 2 turns only. Whip finish twice and trim, I do not varnish this pattern at all. I usually fish 2 of these a smaller size 14 on the bob and a 12 on the point, i use a midge tip and cast them out and leave them for 5 secs if nothign comes up fig o 8 them back. Rgds....Dave
